- On Wednesday IFR noted the block sales were linked to a large overseas bond fund shedding duration; it's not yet clear whether it's the same participant.
- More broadly, Citi notes the possibility of markets having a "rethink" over the Fed tightening path given Chair Powell's remarks earlier this week, which "further raises the probability that 50bp rate hikes will continue until policy rates move above 3.5%".
