As usual, a fair amount of confusion surrounded German issuance when two adjacent maturities are auctioned at the same time, but Bunds had already faded long before the results alongside Gilts in recognition of some respite in broad risk aversion. The core Eurozone debt future extended to 135.74 at best and its UK equivalent topped out at 102.12, while Treasuries remain softer with the T-note just shy of par between 115-25+/18 confines in advance of US durable goods, wholesale and retail inventories plus Usd 43 bn 5 year supply.
