Airbus (AIR FP) - Japan Airlines is leaning towards Embraer over Airbus for an order of about 20 regional jets, according to Bloomberg. JAL is weighing Embraer’s E2 against Airbus’s A220, and could decide as soon as October, though no decision is final. (Bloomberg)

Kingfisher (KGF LN) - H1 2026/27 (GBP): Total Sales 6.86bln (exp. 6.88bln, prev. 6.81mln Y/Y), Adj. Pretax Profit 404mln (exp. 372mln), Operating Profit 449mln (prev. 383mln Y/Y), LFL Sales Growth 0.1% (exp. -0.1%). Raises its FY26/27 adj. Smiths Group (SMIN LN) - FY 2026 (GBP): Revenue 1.94bln (prev. 1.90bln Y/Y), Operating Profit 399mln (prev. 388mln Y/Y). Raises its dividend to 48.5p/shr (exp. 48p/shr). Guides FY27 organic revenue growth of around 4% and headline operating profit margin of around 21%. (Smiths Group)

Co. says Holiday Experiences has made a strong start to H1 FY27 and that Booked revenue in Markets + Airline for Winter 2026/27 reflects a continuation of the later booking trend against the backdrop of ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
