TAIWAN (CLOSED)

Foxconn (2354 TT) - Co. said it shut down some of its production lines in Taiwan for inspection following the earthquake but noted normal production operations have gradually resumed, while there was no damage to manufacturing equipment with the operational and financial impacts to be very slight. TSMC (2330 TT) - Co. suspended work at construction sites for April 3rd and work will resume following further inspections, while the impacted facilities were expected to resume production throughout the night after the earthquake and Co. said its safety systems are operating normally. (Newswires)

UMC (2303 TT) - Co. said no significant impact on operations after the Taiwanese earthquake and production of some wafers made in Taiwan were affected, but added that production and delivery have resumed.
