
[MARKET ANALYSIS] Oil futures are steady overnight ahead of US-Iran talks and US-Ukraine-Russia trilateral negotiations in Geneva

- Oil futures are rangebound overnight but hold on to most of the prior day's gains after steadily advancing in thinned conditions, while the focus turns to US-Iran talks in Geneva on Tuesday, which will simultaneously be held with trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, Russia and the US.
Gold: -0.9%
- Retreated after stalling around the USD 5,000/oz level with selling pressure seen alongside a drop in silver prices, which tumbled by more than 3% before bouncing off its lows.
Copper: -0.8%
- Remains subdued amid the mass holiday closures across the region, including its largest buyer, China.
