EUROPEAN FIXED INCOME UPDATE: debt revival gathers momentum
Analysis details (10:59)
Bonds have overcome several wobbles and bouts of selling pressure to set a firmer base for recovery and potential watershed Wednesday in terms of retracing losses or at least breaking a bearish run. However, Bunds, Gilts and the 10 year T-note still have some way to go before getting close to matching yesterday’s best levels as they hover below peaks within 151.89-150.83, 115.59-114.67 and 118-10/117-27 respective ranges vs peaks of 152.60, 115.75 and 118-15+. Moreover, event risk looms via data and a 20 year note auction today before this week’s real highlights, including BoJ and ECB policy meetings plus preliminary PMIs on Thursday and Friday.
