Another hawkish blast from BoE’s Mann weighing on Gilts and the short end of the curve as the 10 year bond dips to a new 101.26 Liffe low (-58 ticks on the day vs just a tick shy of par at best), and the Sonia strip deeper into negative territory. Meanwhile, Bunds and the T-note are declining in sympathy with the former down to 133.92 and latter touching 111-00 vs 134.41 and 111-08 peaks. Next up, CBI trades and CBRT rates before US data, Usd 35 bn 7 year supply and comments from Fed’s Bostic and Daly hot on the heels of hawkish FOMC minutes.
