EUROPEAN FIXED INCOME UPDATE: debt futures on track for revival
Analysis details (10:46)
Bonds continue to bounce in measured fashion and with Gilts picking up the baton most recently after a well received DMO linker auction. The 10 year benchmark pulled up just shy of 92.00, at 91.97 to close the gap on Bunds that popped over 131.00, to 131.04 a while ago and the T-note within a 109-07+/108-28 overnight range. However, debt faces several hurdles before being assured of a turnaround Tuesday, including UK CBI trends, Fed rhetoric, regional surveys, existing home sales and discount rate meeting minutes, not to mention renewed risk appetite that also appears to be gathering momentum.
