EUROPEAN FIXED INCOME UPDATE: bonds hit buffers after even firmer bounces
Analysis details (10:44)
Strong demand for German and UK supply underscores the current bullish mood, but debt futures have pared some gains following an extension of the recovery rallies to fresh session and w-t-d peaks that saw Bunds reach 136.70, Gilts 102.46 and the T-note 115-30+. Technical resistance seems to have sapped some upside momentum as the 10 year benchmarks approached highs seen at a similar stage last week, while the core Eurozone bond may be encountering a bit of support around 2.25% ahead of a busy pm agenda comprising US data, the Quarterly Refunding schedule and Fed at the top of the podium.
