Ryanair (RYA ID) - CEO says: Ryanair sees a surprising fall in air traffic control strikes in August. The company is pleased with current trading and reports strong summer volumes. There is no change to guidance at the moment. Around 700 flights were cancelled in July mainly due to French ATC strikes, compared with fewer than 50 so far in August. Countries should not be able to ban overflights during strikes, and ATCs must be fully staffed for the first wave of morning departures. Ryanair does not support the EU proposal to reform baggage rules to give customers a free cabin bag.

Taylor Wimpey (TW LN) - Co. is reportedly set to be removed from the FTSE 100 index, according to Bloomberg. Metlen is reportedly to replace. (Bloomberg)
